“We are so happy we chose Kasey Kreit as our photographer! She created such a comfortable environment; both my fiancé and I really enjoyed our engagement session and had so much fun with Kasey. We were super impressed with her preparedness. She researched different places for our session and went there before hand to scope it out for picture ideas. It was perfect! Kasey Kreit went the extra mile to get our pictures back to us way earlier than expected. This was such a special surprise! We love our photos and will always treasure them. We are looking forward to having her be our wedding photographer.”

Long Distance Love, At First Sight
“Joel is a Utah boy and I, Kate, am a Montana girl. We met through a friend and it was love at first sight for the both of us.”
Even with 500 miles between them, nothing couldn’t stop the love that they felt. Two years later they are still together. In October Joel proposed to Kate in the forest near her childhood home. Ready for a new chapter with no more goodbyes, Kate said “yes!”
Montana Engagement Session
After Kate reached out to me we talked about how her and Joel shared a mutual love for the outdoors and adventure. I was so excited to work with them and I couldn’t wait to see what we could come up with for their session.
Researching the area, near Missoula, Montana, I found a few awesome spots. Kate and I talked it over and looked through images that we found online to make sure that we chose the perfect place. We ended up picking a spot in the Rattlesnake Mountains. It looked perfect.
Missoula Wilderness Experience
My husband, Robert, and I arrived early on the day of the session to scout out the location. I immediately knew that we had chosen right. The location was perfect for the wilderness feel that we wanted the session to have. Even though there were a lot of people on the hiking trails it still managed to feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was just so quiet and beautiful!
The snow covered trees practically made a tunnel at times. It made you feel like you could just walk on forever never reaching an end. Needless to say. I was overcome with a sense of peace. I was so excited to photograph Kate and Joel in such a mesmerizing location.
Wildly In Love
When it came time for the session to start I met Kate and Joel at the base of the trailhead. Immediately I knew that it was going to be a great session. They both just had such a fresh energy about them and you could see how crazy in love they are!
Hiking along the trail we talked all about their wedding, family, wildlife documentaries, and our love for the outdoors. On our way we found so many backgrounds to work with and we had fun playing around in the snow. Their session was filled with so much laughter and their fun personalities made it so easy to capture their love.
This adventurous session was definitely one of my favorites to date. I seriously cannot wait to capture their mountainside wedding in the Bitterroot Mountains this May!
