Planning Around Weather
When we were planning Christina and Matt’s Helena, Montana engagement session we were worried about weather. Being April in Montana the weather is always so unpredictable! One day it might be 70 degrees out and the next you might have snow. Sometimes you see both in the same day. When we woke up and saw that the forecast for Helena was supposed to be rain and wind all day we almost rescheduled. However, I called around to a few wedding vendors in Helena and asked them if they could keep me posted. They told me that the weather was not as dreary as the forecast was saying. After receiving that news we decided to take a chance and drive out to Helena. Once we got there it was just a calm breeze with light rain every once in awhile.
Montana Engagement Session
The cool, cloudy day ended up being perfect for their spring engagement session! The light was lovely and the cool air felt nice as we adventured through the streets and alleys of Helena. Between getting to explore the downtown area and occasional dancing in the street I had a great time capturing Christina and Matt’s engagement pictures!
Looking back at these images I can’t believe how fast the time flew. Almost a year has gone by and their wedding is coming up fast. I am so excited and honored that I will be there to capture their wedding day. The details of the day are going to be so beautiful. I also have my fingers crossed that the weather will be as nice to us as it was for their engagement session. Maybe it is too much to ask for, but I may be wishing that we will even have a light snow. How magical would that be?
